Philanthropy
What We Do
ΘΔΧ’s Philanthropy is associated with Spectrum: Autism at Cal, whose mission is to to foster understanding and create a welcoming and safe community for all those affected by Autism. We raise awareness throughout the Berkeley community, offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, and hold fundraising events.

Pumpkin Patch
A new event as of Fall 2017, the pumpkin patch is a Pumpkin Carving Contest on our lawn, bringing together teams of brothers, sorority sisters, and people outside of Greek Life too. Complete with a decorated house, hay bales, pumpkin pie, hot cider and pumpkin seeds, this is an event we’ll be looking forward to for years to come.
Haunted House
The haunted house is our biggest philanthropy event of the year. The house gets totally made over in the basement and ground floor with varied themes from room to room and year to year. Tour guides take hundreds of people through the house and wait for the screams to start. Brothers all have the opportunity to get involved, whether it’s organizing the event itself, being a tour guide, or getting dressed up as a part of the haunted house.

Bros United
Bros United is an internal Philo event which occurs almost every Sunday throughout the Spring semester. TDX invites high schoolers on the Spectrum to various events like scavenger hunts, BBQ’s, and a trip to the Lawrence Hall of Science.
Spectrum 5k
Near the end of every Spring Semester, TDX helps out Spectrum: Autism at Cal with their annual 5k. Brothers help with set up and facilitation, and can even participate in the race!

GET IN Touch
Whether you’re looking to rush TDX in an upcoming semester, an alumni interested in what’s been going on in our charge, or just generally interested in learning what being a Theta Delt is all about, we’d love to hear about it
